EVERY MOMENT COUNTS

Angels on the Border had its beginning in 1992 when Carl Haupt and his wife, Sarah, began carting used clothing to the poor people they had met in Agua Prieta, Mexico, which lies across the border from Douglas, Arizona. For the next 27 years, Carl and Sarah continued to find ways to donate money and goods to poor families along the border. They have helped build 100 homes. They arranged for 25 mobile homes to be donated and delivered. And they have acquired and transported hundreds of pounds of rice, beans, and other foodstuffs to families in need in Mexico.

Carl and Sarah started their charity, Angels on the Border, a 501.3c non-profit organization, in 2019 to continue their work. All author royalties from Carl’s books go directly to Angels on the Border to fund food supplies, housing support, scholarships and medical support for families along the border in Mexico.
